Clerkington

Clerkington is a popular and scenic stretch as the river flows through mature parkland.   Entry to the Clerkington stretch should be via the main drive or by Burns memorial on the B6368, but not along the river from Haddington.

A short way upstream, the major tributary Gifford Water joins the river as it flows through open pasture.
